As part of the renewal of the centre of Zeist, Hogeweg square has been re-designed and will be home to two sculptures by Ram Katzir.

Rozenoord 2.0

Following the unveiling of Rozenoord Monument in 2015, six additional victims were identified and the monument has been enlarged in 2018 with six chairs and nameplates. Research concerning the identities of the unknown victims continues.
A 400 page publication with biographies of all known victims will be presented during the opening.

Opening and book launch on Tuesday, September 18 at 16.30

Portal 2.0

Studio Ram Katzir & artist duo Hertog Nadler were invited to design an extension to Art Route Zwolle.

Portal 2.0 will consist of a permanent installation in Zwolle’s new Station Square, and an outdoor photography exhibition during the renovation period of the square. Completion circa 2021.

Hannah Arendt memorial

Ram Katzir’s sculpture Petrification will be installed in the Friedland Museum in Kaliningrad. This date marks the 110th anniversary of the birth of Hanna Arendt, the Jewish political theorist who was born in 1906 in Köningsberg, modern day Kaliningrad. Official unveiling on Friday, October 14th at 16.00 .

During November to December Katzir will present a new work in the exhibition Migrations in the NCCA (National Center Contemporary Arts) in Kaliningrad.
