| traffic light, april - july 1994 audience participatory installation, mixed media ibn gvirol/shderot shaul hamelech junction, tel aviv, israel situated on the intersection between the tel aviv museum and the headquarters of the israeli defense forces, traffic light is a modification of an existing pedestrian traffic light. the figure of the walking man was transformed into a shooting man. following an article in a local newspaper, the piece was removed by city officials. photographed by daniel sheriff |
